En la actualidad, alrededor del 13% de la población adulta a nivel mundial padece obesidad, afectando a más de 650 millones de personas. Las modificaciones en el estilo de vida en pacientes con obesidad reducen el riesgo de enfermedades crónicas asociadas, por lo que se recomienda implementar intervenciones conductuales intensivas.
En esta infografía se planteará el abordaje integral del paciente con obesidad, incluyendo anamnesis, exploración física y estudios pertinentes de laboratorio y gabinete, así como la importancia de la historia clínica psiquiátrica para evaluar su salud mental de una forma rutinaria.
